Overview

A hand-loom weaving workshop teaching the basics of Sadu, a craft on the UNESCO intangible heritage list. It opens with an explanation of Sadu’s motifs and colours and what they mean in Bedouin culture. Each guest then works a small loom and weaves a piece to take home. The craftswoman leading the workshop learned Sadu from her grandmother and has practised it for over twenty years.
