How ratings work
Last updated: August 5, 2026
Who can rate
Only guests who booked and attended. A rating cannot be written before the activity has ended or attendance has been recorded, and one booking earns one rating.
What you rate
Alongside the overall five-star score you can rate six separate aspects: value for money, location quality, communication, organisation, punctuality and safety. Each aspect's average appears on the activity page so the next guest can see where an activity excels and where it falls short.
How the average is calculated
The displayed average is the plain arithmetic mean of every visible rating — unweighted, with no low scores discarded. An activity with no ratings yet shows no average, not a default one.
When a rating is hidden
A rating is hidden if it contains abusive language, personal data or content unrelated to the experience. Hiding is a logged decision; it is never used to improve an activity's average and never done at a provider's request.
