Overview
A mountain trail rising through the old juniper forest at Al Soudah to the Kingdom’s highest point at close to three thousand metres. Moderate to hard and needing reasonable fitness, but the climb is gradual and no climbing gear is required. Fog is part of the experience in certain seasons, and the guide knows when the route is safe and when it should be postponed. We stop at three viewpoints that open onto the whole Tihama plain on clear days.
